Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Testing Machine

The Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Testing Machine is designed to test the abrasion resistance and pilling properties of textiles, including outer layers, linings, or underlayers of footwear, as well as similar fabrics. Tests can be performed under both dry and wet conditions as per standardized procedures. Samples are subjected to Lissajous motion for a specified number of cycles, after which the samples are evaluated against their original state to determine their abrasion resistance grade.
